Today, is easy to measure time. Everybody has a watch or a mobile phone with the time on it. But in the past, it was very different!


Sundial
This is a sundial from Ancient Egypt. The shadow on the sundial shows the time.
Of course, the sundial doesn't work at night.

Today, peoplestill use hourglasses in games.



Candle Clock
The candle clock is from the 9th century. The marks on the candle masure time.

Astrolabe
The astrolabe is from Ancient Greece. People look at the starts with it. The posicion of the stars shows the time.
